Project BIOKRAFT has started

The overall objective of the project is to enable biogas plant operators and consulting institutions to examine the feasibility and profitability of fuel supply and distribution for existing biogas plants in concrete cases. For this purpose, a comprehensive guideline will be created and a practical online application will be developed, which considers the essential technical, legal and economic facts for the business field "biomethane as a fuel" for agricultural biogas plants.

The project is supported by the Agency for Renewable Resources (FNR) with funds from the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). At the FNR, the project is registered under the funding code 2220NR280B.

Collaborative / Joint project „MuD BMA Lewitz“

The project partners came together in order to build a demonstration plant for the fermentation of large quantities of horse manure and for the production of bio-LNG as a fuel. Intended input materials for the fermentation are farm manure, including horse manure from Paul Schockemöhle Pferdehaltung GmbH, and energy crops.

Demonstration Project: Biomethane from Horse Manure

Together with Schockemöhle Bioenergie & Co KG, we are developing an optimised substrate logistic concept. The particular challenges here are the minimisation of energy losses during storage and the handling of impurities. Operators of other biogas and biomethane plants can also learn from this if they are planning to ferment large quantities of manure.

REGATEC 2023 in Berlin

The REGATEC conference will be held in Berlin at the Van der Valk hotel from May 15-16, 2023. The focus will be on renewable methane for gas mobility or grid injection, including anaerobic digestion, gasification and power-to-gas.
